Climb a flight up and the mood shifts to the 70 Juta rooftop deck, an open timber terrace that catches the late sun over the corner of Juta and De Beer.

It is an easy, daylight-friendly kind of room. The cafe suits casual meetings, creative catch-ups and quick coffees; the deck takes over for intimate gatherings, sundowners and small celebrations as the afternoon turns.
